Preparedness is something we all need to think about and take action in doing. It can be as simple as starting a food storage area, learning how to be frugal in bartering, being involved in alternative energy projects, preparing your family and home for anything. There are different levels of preparedness…either homesteading, getting out of debt… or knowing what to put into food storage, to having your family packed in your car for a survival meet-up location…or for those that want to hunker down off-grid to bug out of the system all together. Preparedness also teaches oneself patience, understanding your limits and how strong you are. Teaching others in your family is important, especially children.
