Senior level Developer to become part of a Smalltalk development
team. This individual will participate in the analysis and design of
a quality software product, play a lead role in the development of
this exciting product, and work closely with other developers to
implement our products in a fast-paced environment.
Qualified candidates must have a bachelors degree or equivalent
experience in business, computer science, or mathematics, and strong
technical, development, communication, organization and problem-
solving skills. In particular, candidates must have experience
working in a Microsoft Windows 2000, IBM VisualAge Smalltalk 5.x/6.x,
and SQL Server environment with at least four years development
experience. Candidates must have significant experience in developing
and maintaining Smalltalk client / server apps as well as WEB
application servers. Strong architecture and object oriented design
skills are a requirement. Experience in object serialization and rule
engines a plus but not required. The individual must be able to work
independently or as part of a team to identify and resolve key
product issues.
Qualified candidates will also play a key part in the future design /
architecture of the application migration to a C# and ASP.NET
platform.
