NYC Smalltalk Developer's Group


There will be a presentation by Mission Software of their new Smalltalk
Java compiler. This technology allows among other things to develop in
Smalltalk yet generate 100% Sun Java compliant byte code and thus run
anywhere Java runs. A developer can actually co-develop both in
Smalltalk and Java at the same time i.e. ST classes can subclass Java
classes and vice versa and more. The presentation will be given by Allen
Davis who was one of the primary developer's for IBM VisualAge project
for the Olympics.

The presentation will be held this upcoming Thursday 16th of December.
