Traditionally , August has been a slow month for us. This year is no
exception. People seem to become tied up around this part of the year
either vacationing or taking advantage of the typically slower
business months to handle affairs prior to the Fall. Anyhow, this
year
is no exception. A large number of our regulars will be going out on
a
company retreat on our scheduled meeting day as well as our scheduled
presenter had pressing personal affairs that has prevented him from
adequately preparing. Thus , I'm afraid that it is just best if we
skip this month's meeting.

Therefore, the August meeting is cancelled. However, in September we
will have an interesting presentation on the use of Extreme
Programming techniques. Also in October we will at last get to enjoy
the long-awaited presentation of Trinity , a Smalltalk based
enterprise management system by Avesta.
