NORTH ATLANTIC BLOOM EXPERIMENT -- POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH
ASSOCIATE
The Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington seeks a
Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on analysis of data from
autonomous floats, gliders and other platforms employed during
the
2008 North Atlantic Bloom Experiment. Experience in some
combination
of Ocean Biogeochemistry, Physical Oceanography, Ocean Optics and
strong skills in quantitative data analysis is required. The
successful candidate will work with an interdisciplinary, multi-
institutional team lead by Dr. Eric D'Asaro and Dr. Craig Lee of
the
Applied Physics Laboratory at the University of Washington and
Dr.
Mary Jane Perry of the University of Maine to understand the
controls
on ocean productivity and carbon export using these new
experimental
tools.
