Hi All, I was curious who else is planning on attending the 2006 Ocean Sciences meeting in February. There will be at least two special sessions at this conference of potential particular interest to this crowd: Remote Sensing of Coastal Waters and Substrates, and Understanding of Optical Scattering in the Ocean. I am aware that due to the remote location (Honolulu), finding funding to cover all expenses is going to be a challenge for most of us, so I thought a little "collaborative effort" could prove useful - particularly in the vein of sharing accomodations. Anyone wishing to split a hotel room in Hawaii, please contact me, or post to this list. Also, I was curious what other meetings people will be attending in the coming year. This is a great forum for keeping each other abreast of what is going on in the community. Best regards, Dirk-- Dirk A.
