hi, as jim white has observed in a previous post, this is coming up
soon. and there is not much java or non m$ stuff on it yet.
this is a fun low key event. i suggest that you all attend. in
particular, if you have any thought about presenting something, please do so.
if you have *never* given a presentation, this is a good place to start.
this does not have to be a research project. sharing you experience
with something would be fine.
hope to see you all there.

SoCalCode Camp is Back
SoCalCodeCamp 2008 Jan 26/27
If you haven't already registered at http://www.socalcodecamp.com for
the upcoming Rock & Roll Code Camp to be held in Fullerton - why not
take a minute to do it now!?!?
Remember, CODE CAMP IS FREE!!!
January 26 & 27, 2007
University of California Fullerton (UCF)
We already have 50 sessions and counting. Many of your favorite
speakers are returning to provide you with great new content
including Kevin McNeish, Paul Sheriff, Daniel Egan, Michele Leroux
Bustamante, Mickey Williams, Woody Pewitt, David McCarter and more!
Imagine, many of these internationally known speakers frequent
conferences like Tech Ed, PDC, MIX, Dev Connections, VSLive and more!
And you get to see them talk for FREE !!!!
There are also some budding new speakers that offer great sessions
based on their real world experiences in the local community. You
could even be one of them - feel free to add more sessions to the
site, we have room for more!
The schedule will be posted one week before Code Camp so you can plan
your attack!
We're also planning another GEEK dinner with two bands this year!
Killola is coming back because they love us. and SoundCake is another
rocking band that is dying to entertain you.
We hope to see you at Rock & Roll Code Camp!
Happy New Year from Woody, Daniel, Michele, David and Mark, your
humble Code Camp organizers.
A Big Thank You goes out to our contributors. We could not have this
great event without them.
