Finally some stuff is popping up in this area. Besides the usual
suspects (orange mycenas, deer mushrooms, etc., etc.) I've recently
seen Xeromphalina tenuipes, Berkeley's polypore, an already decaying
sulfur shelf, some horse mushrooms under spruce, an Amanita gemmata (my
first amanita this year), and a very early rooting polypore (Polyporus
radicatus) seen on June 4th, which is 15 days earlier than I've ever
