I was refereeing several soccer games today, and after drinking coffee
and water, the woods were calling. I am standing there, admiring nature,
and I see a chicken mushroom on top of a log. Beautiful! So, after two
games, I had a break, so I thought I would walk around and see what I
could see. I found a Beared Tooth, as pretty as can be. I also found a
lot of Meadow Mushrooms (Agaricus campestris), but I am not 100%
definite on those, yet. I am making a spore print.

I have seen lots of these Agaricus since the rain has fallen in
Cincinnati, in front yards that have some brown grass and a few patches
of now-green grass. The rain seems to have really brought out the
growth, as if they have been waiting, and now, finally!

Thanks to The Teach for giving me enough knowledge and confidence to
identify some tasty 'shrooms! I took some pictures, but I don't know how
to paste the pictures.
