OK I found a place outside of Paris TX where something big had been eating cedar
berries..... anyone here know if black bears live in north Texas and are they
nimble enough to strip one large cedar tree of its berries on one side and
partially break another branch? I thought at the time only a bigfoot could have
done this damage but now I wonder if black bears could have. The undamaged tree
was cleaned of berries on the side away from thr parkinglot. It was a very tall
tree and is still there. My husband and I are going back to photgraph the site
in a coupe of weeks.
