We are trying to read 0-255 values from matrices of png files using the
imread command in IPT/Omatrix, version 6.5 on both WindowsXP and
VISTA. Instead of 0-255 numbers, we are seeing random symbols
indicative of code. When reading the same file in MatLab, the 0-255
values are shown.

The file came from Photoshop. We also tried TIFF and GIF formats, but
these showed symbols vs. 0-255 numbers as well.

Maybe something else needs to be included with the imread command?
