OmegaT is a free Computer Assisted Translation tool that runs on Windows, Mac OSX, Linux etc.

But the question still remains, are there some parent folder names where creating an OmegaT project as a subfolder of that parent folder will cause a problem?

... Not in your case (as you wrote an explanation later), but sometimes updating OmegaT can cause the new version to fail, because of too much memory
