I think this is a fascinating topic with a number of implications and

Tweeted about this issue, as I can imagine this may be an area of interest for a
wider audience.
Interesting how issues in and around online community can be moved forward in

I suspect most email list programs have a hard time keeping up with
these "invitation" emails. As soon as they block, one, a new one emerges.
Having been the accidental sender of such email (to my complete
humiliation) it is easy to mistakenly do based on the interfaces,
which I have sometimes felt are almost devious in their design so you
don't quite see the mistake you are about to make!!!
