Sorry, not much experience here in either neural nets or FPGAs, but
I'm curious, is your focus on the robot controller side or on
implementing the FPGA neural network? A mobile robot controller using
an FPGA seems intriquing--I assume you'd be using a behavior mobile
robot control architecture rather than a 3 layer approach or a
traditional sense-plan-act (SPA) architecture.
