Occasional commercial posts about automobile diagnostic tools is fine, but any subscriber posting an offtopic commercial message will be kicked on the FIRST offense. Commercial means both offering software you wrote for sale (e.g. Uwe Ross mentioning a new version of VAG-COM) or offering software you previously purchased don't need anymore (though some software licenses cannot be transferred).

Advertising unauthorized copies (pirated) of software or forged authentication tags (faked registration) for sale or trade or even for free will result in deleted messages and kicked subscribers. This includes transgressions as simple as posting a link to a server containing this stuff.

Membership is restricted: you must be approved by the moderator.

I can only review these once a week or so, so it will take some time to join, but the keygen and spam folks were getting out of hand. You can read the message archive without joining the list.
