Description

This group will be dedicated to working with, and developing products for use with Qnap Turbostation Network Attached Storage Devices (e.g TS-101, TS-201, TS-401). The idea is to share knowledge which can be used to open up the power of this system. Development information is shared with the Open Turbostation Mini Wiki and on the slimdevices forum.

This will be a moderated group. Any form of spam, unsolicated email, flaming or personal attacks will result in immediate removal from the group.

New Members

After a recent spate of spamming the account has been changed such that new members need approval before posting. I apologise if this adds extra time to the posting of messages but hope you understand.

For the serial port, you should look at this page http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/Qnap_Turbostation:TSSerial I also own a TS-201 and I can see the connectors

Sorry I meant to say I did NOT see anything like a serial port. Also, is there a way I could tell it was indeed still going through the boot sequence? Sorry

Thanks for getting back to me. Can I assume the serial port would be placed at a place rather obvious with a standard connector? I did see anything like that
