The Oregon Delphi User Group is a community-sponsored group of professional software developers offering free seminars, networking opportunities, and fellowship focusing on Delphi software development and related technologies. The seminar presenters regularly include leading developers, authors, and companies who graciously share their experiences with the group.

This mailing lists exists mainly for announcements of our bi-monthly meetings and other Delphi-related announcements for the Oregon and Southwest Washington region of the U.S. Sometimes, discussions arise about Delphi programming, Code Gear, or other related technical issues--often pertaining to presentations seen at the meetings. These are good and encouraged.

We do not encourage people from outside the area (like India) to join solely for the purpose of asking techincal questions. We are not a support forum--however, we do freely share advice and help each other out when stumped wherever possible.

Also, we are NOT a job-placement forum. Please DO NOT JOIN SOLELY TO PUBLISH YOUR DELPHI JOB ADS; such messages will be rejected. However, if there is a Delphi job available in Oregon or nearby, feel free to send a message to the coordinator, who will in his sole discretion, pass it along to the mailing list.

Advertising will NOT be tolerated on this list. Any member who stands to profit from a direct advertisement on this list (via file upload or message posting) except through relevant discussion or specific request from other members will be banned!
