Description

Welcome to the Southern Oregon Skywatchers amateur astronomy group.

We welcome newcomers and visitors to our meetings and star parties.

We meet monthly (except May through August) on the third Wednesday of the month at the Medford High School Planetarium in Medford. All meetings start at 7:00 p.m.

May through August we focus on star parties and outreach programs. Our star parties are on the Saturday nearest the new moon, weather permitting, of course! All our meetings and programs are free of charge and everyone is invited. Please monitor this newsgroup for details.
