hey gang -

i'm using a m-audio delta 44 soundcard with on win xp.
i'm having an impossible time getting the audio i record into orion to
actually sync-up with the other tracks.
it's as tho maybe i've set something wrong inside orion perhaps?
i tried setting a higher timebase, but it didnt help.
i seem to be getting very good audio sync-up when using cool edit however.
i've been using ORION since the early days, but have only just now started
trying to record audio with it. i really want to get orion recording live audio

i'm using a behringer mixer, with the PC's output feeding into channels 15&16
(L&R).
i feed my audio from my mixer INTO the pc from the mixers sub outs 1 & 2 (L&
R).
when i record live tracks into orion, i mute the audio track from inside
orion, and play along to the PC's output going into my mixer live.
even when i try to render new parts from my hardware synths into my orion
songs via the midi out, the new recordings dont quite sync-up properly.
am i doing this all wrong perhaps? is there any easier, more proper way to go
about this? or can anyone point me to a possible FAQ about these type of
issues, or can anyone offer any personal advice?
