Hi Yves,
question is now:
1. do you have any System
Automation active ?
2. check your IEFSSNxx member:
Usually there is an entry for
JES2:
JES2,PRIMARY
this implies an automatical start
of JES2. There is a parameter
following PRIMARY which might be
specified: NOSTART.
Hope this helps
Regards
Peter

Thank you Peter to share my
problem(s) !
In fact, I haven't gotten any error
message, but the system dismounted
the
tape and requested me to mount it,
with the famous (normal)
message-sequence
:
IEC502E K
0571,R0523A,SL,YLVT2DSK,volser
*IEC501A M
0571,R0523A,NL,,YLVT2DSK,volser,SYS05091.T175120.RA000.YLVT2DSK.R0101035
I could finally solve the problem,
once I found (on the Web) the
possibility
to give HASP commands like :
* $D JOBCLASS --> this one
showed that the BLP parameter had
not
been changed to YES, but was still
set to NO.
* $T JOBCLASS(x),BLP=YES,
then
* $D JOBCLASS again -->
this one showed that the BLP
parameter had
finally been changed to YES... and
I could do my job.
Well, but the problem is now :
where, in this system, are the
contradictory
parameters.
* I haven't found any < S
JES2 > command in the SYS1.PARMLIB
* When IPLing, I require
the SYSP=15 parameter, which should
normally take the values out of the
IEASYS15 member :
* I've checked all the
members implicitly referred to by
the
specific parameters (PROGxx,
CLOCKxx, COMMNDxx, CONSOLxx, etc.),
but none of
them had any indication concerning
JES2 or HASP.
So, to summarize, I'm searching a
path explaining the system's
reaction. Oh
! I forgot to list my JES2
procedure :
//JES2 PROC
//IEFPROC EXEC PGM=HASJES20,
//
DPRTY=(15,15),TIME=1440,PERFORM=9
//ALTPARM DD DISP=SHR,
//
DSN=CPAC.PARMLIB(JES2PARM)
//HASPPARM DD DISP=SHR,
//
DSN=SYS1.PARMLIB(JES2PARM)
//PROC00 DD DISP=SHR,
// DSN=SYS1.PROCLIB
// DD DISP=SHR,
// DSN=CPAC.PROCLIB
// DD DISP=SHR,
// DSN=SYS1.IBM.PROCLIB
// DD DISP=SHR,
// DSN=EUV.SEUVPRC
//IEFRDER DD SYSOUT=*
//HASPLIST DD DDNAME=IEFRDER
All this problem is because I've
just received the mission to <
purify > the
current system. And it does not
seem to be so easy, is it !?
Thanks for your help. If you have
any idea of the path I should start
with
for my investigation, I'll be very
interested anyway.
Yves

Hi Yves,

getting?

I've changed the BLP parameter in
JES2PARM to BLP=YES.
I've shut down and re-IPL my
system
(WARM,NOREQ).
... and its still not working:
Although my JCL specifies
LABEL=(1,BLP) for an Input tape,
z/OS changes
it to NL !
Have I forgotten any other change
?
Thank you to point me to the
correct members and/or parameters
!
Yves
