If instead of using FTPS you would use SFTP or scp (OpenSSH) you
could
install the
http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/zseries/zos/unix/port_tools.html
ported tools. I am sure there are some gui programs for the mac
too that support certificate storing and scp/sftp secure file
transfer.
