The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Office of Space
Science has modified the Draft Announcement of Opportunity (AO) for the
next missions in the Small Explorer (SMEX) program. The Draft SMEX AO was
released on August 12, 2002. Although NASA does not intend to release
another Draft SMEX AO, several significant changes to the Draft SMEX AO are
discussed on the SMEX Acquisition Additional Information Page located at
http://explorer.larc.nasa.gov/explorer/smexacq.html .
