AMENDMENT No. 16 TO THE NASA RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENT (NRA) ENTITLED "RESEARCH
OPPORTUNITIES IN SPACE SCIENCE (ROSS) 2004," NNH04ZSS001N, RELEASED JANUARY
30, 2004

On or about December 20, 2004, Amendment No. 16 to NASA Research
Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space Science" (NNH04ZSS001N) will
be posted on its homepage Web site at
http://research.hq.nasa.gov/code_s/nra/current/NNH04Zss001N/. This
amendment cancels Program Element A.7 in Appendix A entitled "Swift Guest
Investigator Program Cycle 2". The delay in the launch of Swift has
necessitated a delay in the solicitation of proposals for the Swift Guest
Investigator Program Cycle 2. Proposals for the Swift Guest Investigator
Program Cycle 2 will be solicited in the NRA entitled "Research
Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (2005)" scheduled for release in
late January 2005. Proposals for the Swift Guest Investigator
Program Cycle 2 will be due in July 2005; please check the NRA upon its
release for the actual due date.
