AMENDMENT TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT CALLING FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE MARS SCOUT
WORKSHOP OF MAY 21-24, 2001
Date Issued: April 19, 2001
On or about April 20, 2001, an amendment to the announcement for proposals
to be presented at the Mars Scout Workshop will be posted at its Web site
http://spacescience.nasa.gov/an/marsscoutsworkshop/ . The purpose of this
amendment is to revise and clarify the procedures that will be used to make
selections under this NASA Broad Agency Announcement.
The changes being implemented through this revision are:
1. Designation of Dr. Edward Weiler, NASA Associate Administrator for
Space Science, as the selecting official.
2. Modification of the workshop dates. The workshop will now begin at 1pm
on May 21 and continue with all-day sessions on May 22-24.
Changes being implemented through this amendment take precedence over any
"Questions and Answers" (or other supplemental information previously
provided to proposers) in situations where conflict occurs.
Changes being requested to the information to be submitted are minimal,
and, therefore, the date for receipt of abstracts remain unchanged.
All questions concerning the Mars Scouts Concepts are to be addressed to
jparrish@... .
