Hi Tyler,
I upgraded from 10.3 to 10.4 a few months ago and had no problems
(well except for ssh and X11 where you want to use ssh -Y instead of
ssh -X to get X forwarding). IDL and IRAF continued to work as
expected. I don't use miriad, so can't comment on it.
