HealthPartners has an immediate opening for a full time employee on
the call center customer service application support team within the
Health Plan Systems Group. Primary responsibilities are to design,
develop, test, implement and maintain Java/J2EE components of our
application suite.

• Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
• Demonstrated ability with J2EE and related technologies
• Demonstrated ability with Java development environments,
application servers, and relational databases.

We're looking for a result oriented, experienced Java/J2EE Developer
with a project delivery focus and passion for the job. Excellent
communication, teamwork, problem solving and efficient interaction
skills with business customers are a must!

• Ability and desire to work in a focused, effective XP/Scrum
team
• Effective collaboration and communication skills
• Strong Object-Oriented design and implementation skills
• Solid Java and database skills
• JUnit, and mocking tools for test-driven development
• Automated build tools (Ant, XML)
• Middle-tier / Service Oriented Architecture
• Java-based Unix and Windows development and deployment
• Lightweight component configuration tools (Spring)
• Thick-client GUI development, especially Swing
• J2EE application server platform (WebLogic)
