OTUG Members,

As many of you know I have been away on a contract out of town.  In January I will be back and am looking to line up a speaker for January.  If anyone has any requests for topics please forward them to me and I will see who I know or what I can do to accommodate your requests.  I have a few calls into people to present on Spring, and new features in Java.  I would also not mind getting the JRuby guys back for some more wizardry.  I also have a new interest in JSR 299, and one of our members is on the exert group so maybe we can get him to give us an update.  I am encouraged by all the recent activity in the community around the Minnebar and MinneDemo.  If you have not heard about it as of yet the MinneDemo is coming up December 11.  ( http://barcamp.org/MinneDemo)  Meetings like this are great for building up our community, and I hope to use this group to get more involved in such activities in the coming year.  If you are interested in such events come to our next meeting in January, and we will gather a few ideas for the coming year.

I expect the January Meeting to be the third week in January, but stay tuned for an update.
