Just as a follow-up, I did try to download OneNote 2007 beta, but MS's
web-site seems to be rather a mess and the requisite link was broken.
They also talked obscurely about future downloads being on a "cost
recovery basis", which sounded more like a threat (the bailiffs?) than
an invitation. Plain English is obviously not in fashion in Redmond.
Life being too short, etc., I've decided to wait for the finished
product. Pity, though, as I was very interested in the idea of being
able to use outlining in notes. That really will make it a killer
application (if done properly).
