The Pakgrid is a forum to discuss, share and disseminate the information about cloud computing, grid and distributed systems, high performance computing, Intelligent software systems, sensor networks and high speed wired and wireless networks.

This group aims to develop a collaborative environment through knowledge sharing and discussions. The plan is to build a strong community of researchers who can effectively contribute towards an excellent research infrastructure in Pakistan and south Asia. It aims to act as a think tank for the development of next generation computing and network technologies and infrastructure.
