Guidelines for Posting Messages on Group

In this competitive and fast moving era we as a Nation need to be Up to date and qualified to compete with others in latest technologies. The primary objective of Pakistan_dotnet is to provide a platform to Pakistani Developers, Programmers, IT Professionals and students to share information about latest Microsoft .NET and other related technologies. The biggest contribution in this group is provided by students, teachers and developers of Operation Badar (a non profit trust) which has been providing high quality education services in the field of.NET, Java, J2EE, XML and UML throughout Pakistan from the last 3 years. Operation Badar is a non-profit trust and working on the basis of individual efforts of its workers.  

OBJECTIVES

• We want to work together united as a nation not as different groups of people.
• We want to be and stay cooperative and open minded in our approach.
• We want to be enthusiastic, supportive and helpful to our countrymen without having prejudices and false ego.
• We want to provide a Platform for Pakistanis to exchange information and their experiences about to Microsoft .NET Technologies
• We want to provide a Platform for discussions and to solved each other problems related to Microsoft .NET Technologies.
• We want to promote Microsoft .NET Technologies in all fields of Education and Professional careers by mutual help.

So if we want to achieve our Goals than we need to be Objective, Serious, Disciplined and at the same time Effective and Helpful.

POSTING GUIDELINES

Following are the Posting guidelines for posting messages on Pakistan_dotnet group:

1.      Please do not post any jobs/ Vacancies if they are not related to any enterprise technology like Microsoft .NET, Sun J2EE and others. You should only post jobs/vacancies related to computing, software development, information technology etc.

If you want to post a job, we will suggest the following yahoo groups as well.

2.      Please do not post any message which is not related to the objectives of this group.

3.      Advertisement of any sort for commercial purpose is NOT allowed. This includes the advertisement for commercial educational organizations, institutes, colleges, universities or any other commercial organization which has no direct or indirect relation to the Microsoft .NET technology.

4.      Advertisements for a social purpose and which are related to Education and student affairs are allowed and welcome. Like for example student Advising organizations (working on Volunteer basis), Information about a Course offering in a local institute or a seminar or workshop offering on .NET and related technologies.

5.      Do NOT post any personal messages on the group like for example Hair loss, or Weight gain. If you want to discuss your personal issues or communicate with your friends please do it privately on individual basis. 

6.      Please do NOT distribute Academic Material on group. If you want to answer someone’s question about a research topic by providing academic research material, do it directly on the asking persons email address. Posting large files on group only occupies the quota of receiving persons e-mail account.

7.      Please do not start any Political, Religious or any Off-Topic Discussions on the group.

8.      Please do not post any offensive, disgusting, and abusive material on this group.

In order to be a constructive platform we have adopted the policy of watchful monitoring and every member who will ignore the posting guidelines will be warned TWICE and after 3^rd repeated ignorance of posting guideline the member will be banned and removed from the groups member list.

We respect the desires, ambitions and thoughtfulness of those who want to share other things thru our Platform but at the same we also believe that everything is more effective on its right place and in an organized way otherwise a lot of different Information and focuses ends up in Information Overload and disorder.

So don’t give up the initiative and use this yahoo group to share the right information. As we respect our members we hope that as a new or existing member of Pakistan_dotnet group you will also respect our rules and will help us in making it an effective platform.
