I am also looking for Nastaliq solution for my website.
But there are many Nastaliq fonts to choose from (being a nice thing, but a problem for me). And some of them have copyright issues. Personally I like Jameel Noori nastaliq. But first it has some copyright issues, secondly it is too large a font for a common user. 12 MB size is too big for a font.
I hope Urdu websites will shift to Unicode Nastaliq fonts soon, and some font will become a standard in near future. (currently picture based Nastaliq text is common in Urdu websites). Some of the visitors of my site have already suggested to use a better font (instead of Nafees web). So Nastaliq is the only option.
Any suggestions in this regard?

Subject: [paktype] Urdu Nastaleeq text based web pages and websites
For some reason I find hardly any websites using proper Nastaleeq font. Those who do, like Jang etc., they use images and graphics.
I intend to add an Urdu section in my Sindhi website where I want to use Urdu Nastaleeq font.
I have done some experimenting at
http://bhurgri. com/bhurgri/ copy/sd_index. php
If you scroll down you can see examples of Urdu Nastaleeq. This page should be viewed in Internet Explorer or latest version of Safari browser. Safari renders text beautifully if you go to Preferences/ Appearance and change the font smoothing from Standard to anything else.
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.
