24 HOURS ON THE PALACE IX begins on November 20, 2004 beginning at 0:00 GMT
(that's Friday, November 19, 2004 beginning at 4:00pm PST, 7:00pm EST) and
continues for a 24 hour period.

TO SUBMIT YOUR PALACE for this event you must visit the web site at
http://palacehop.org or direct to submission page
http://palacehop.org/palsub.php and fill out the form. At least one
representative from each participating Palace must be subscribed to the official
24HOP mailing list at http://www.smartgroups.com/groups/24hop.

****** THE DEADLINE FOR ALL PALACE SITE SUBMISSIONS IS MIDNIGHT SUNDAY, NOVEMBER

PLEASE BE AWARE: Our primary goal is always to schedule a balance between
US/non-US sites, and so, as we sort through the enormous list of site
submissions, priority will be given to sites that reflect the theme of this
event, follow the global travel theme, and reflect the unique individuality of
various regions, people and places. Unfortunately, there's just not
enough hours in a 24 hour timeframe to get EVERY site that we'd like to include.
From the sites submitted, only 48 will make it to the final schedule of tours
(30 minutes per tour). However, all remaining submissions will be linked in our
Honorable Mentions rooms, from the main 24HOP palace -
palace://palacehop.org:9998.

We apologize in advance to those of you who may not make the first draft of the
schedule. It is not a reflection on you or the quality of your Palace. It's
simply a matter of administrative agenda.

MORE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:

24HOP needs TOUR GUIDES AND TOUR LEADERS to escort visitors throughout the
various palaces participating in the 24 Hours On The Palace© tour. If you wish
to volunteer as a guide, please fill out the form at
http://palacehop.org/guidsub.php. You will also be required to join the
official 24HOP mailing list at http://www.smartgroups.com/groups/24hop.

Of course, 24HOP needs TOURISTS to enjoy the event, itself! So, it should be
great advertise the event at your site and/or palace. You can find graphics
(signs, banners, signs prop sized,etc) at
http://palacehop.org/24palgraphics.php.

All radios are encouraged to be part on event too and make coverage, inviting
their listeners to join us.
