I haven't done much with virtual hosting, and it seems that if I just scrap
using the apache stuff in the palace files and use apache that is on linux then
it should load media faster?
I did notice people coming in to test the palace had problems getting the media,
where before I even tried starting httpd from within palace they were able to
but it was slow, even on my user pc in the same network.
Another site said the same thing as you did about apache within palace. I was
overly tired when responding and didn't consider what the benefits would be of
just using the native linux apache server. If you have any insight on where to
start that would be a big help. Will be checking other site for info as well.
This has been and still is a learning process. Every step of the way I've gotten
one step done to get to another step that may make things better.
