Hey Doug,
Well yes, it offers the same type of profile to Palaces themselves.
You can do this two ways: register an account for the Palace and use
the profile page as Palace profile. Or use the Palace page option in
your profile to profile the palace profile lol... palace...
But seriously, you can get a Palace and user profile, or use the
palace page inside your user profile. My main problem with Palace
planet is this:
No proper explenations on how things work and what you can do!
Your question about the link is a good example:
The site is nothing but a link to everybody, you can post your
events, Palace adress, put up a banner for your Palace in the
toplist, put up articles to announce and invite, put links to your
site / instant palace, add screencaptures to the gallery and make a
Palace profile that stands out and links / promotes your sites.
But I guess without explenation people are afraid to use it or don't
even think its actually there lol. Despite the fact I keep posting on
every list: submit links, promos, events.. everything!
We need to promote the features better I guess, I also think people
don't really read most of the things I post on lists these days so if
anyone else wants to step up :P
BTW CpStar has offered to help convert the manuals to the Wiki pages:
http://www.palaceplanet.net/wiki
this is mediaWiki with vBulletin forum permissions and nope I didn't
have time to put in anything usefull lol.
anyway thats it for now, so Doug feel free to submit as much info as
possible. In Links just click on the category and a add link button
should appear.
have fun
Maarten
