The Hoffecker paper cited in the article is freely available from PNAS.  This Svoboda paper is also mentioned, but the main topic of the blog post is for the PNAS paper.  There’s a link on the blog post.

 

Meanwhile, s the Svoboda paper from a book or was it presented to some seminar?  It has no data other than page numbers (122-131), and Dienekes blog doesn’t say much other than it’s available, with a link to scribd.  It provides some good background for the context.  Hoffecker cites a couple of Svoboda’s papers in his references, but neither is this one.

I uploaded the paper into the files. I believe to see the paper you have to be a member of the Scribd site. There are a couple of other papers 'recommended' by the site I will be looking at.
