On PowerNet 1.9.8 on my Treo 650 GSM Unlocked:
- check "Turn off 'Beam Receive' after"
- uncheck "Disable Power button while online" and all other settings
- plugged in
When "Disable AutoOff in cradle" is checked, the POWER (red)
button does not work.
When "Disable AutoOff in cradle" is unchecked, the POWER
button works properly.
PalmInternals shows PowerNet receiving the
notifications "hots" ("Hotsync started"), "sync" ("Hotsync
finished"), and "slpq" ("Ack about sleep"). "slpq" is also
notifying "Butler" and "AutoOffExtender", the other two showing
numerous other apps.
I DO have over 200 other apps, hacks, Das, panels, etc. on my
Treo, so it's possible there's a conflict.
Could someone else with a Treo 650 GSM Unlocked please
validate my scenario?
how can i be?
you can be asking a lot of questions:
how do you do it generally?
what are limitations?
how is it implemented?
what does it require of my application?
how does it work?
does does the system linker feel about this?
how compatible is it?
how future-proof is it?
etc... so i answered the only question you asked for sure: "can it be
done" :-)

Please try the old YAHM version, e.g: 2.3.6, I found the FontHackV will crash on some device when using YAHM 2.5.113.

My feeling is that FontHackV is not fully NVFS compatible. Try my FontSmoother. :-)

FontHackV works perfectly here, and handles fonts on SD card as expected
(including handling of card removals etc)

Hi,
does anyone can give me a hint how to access the Alarm Table (probably
using AlarmGlobals?) on Palm OS 5? I know the way for Palm OS < 5 but
it seems it doesn't work with Palm OS 5. At least I tried it on the
simulator but didn't find anything which looked like the Alarm Table.
Thank you very much

yes there exists a way to do this.
I would like to install traps on apis in 'netl'.
I have tried a couple of things I can think of to trap the apis, but
no luck. Is there any way to do this?
Thanks,
Hi Everyone,
At one point I had purchased a copy of the Belkins driver, but that is
now lost to history. I've given the palm to my step brother who is now
trying to use the g700 keyboard. Does anyone know where I can either
get a working copy of the YAHM driver or another g700 driver that will
work with the sony version of the keyboard? Thanks!
None public.

Thank you for the explanation (I wish yamh_dev manual to be some more
descriptive in such areas). I've spotted the patch but wasn't fully
aware of what would I need it for. If anyone would like to share his
patched build-prc (for linux), I'd be grateful not being forced to
build it myself.

Any constant string or function pointer reference requires a special kind of
relocation (even
with -fPIC code due to the (somewhat broken) way gcc generates arm code. This is
called
".got" relative code. YAHM supports .got relocations but you need to use a
special version of
the build-prc. In the files section you can find the patch for build-prc that
produces the
required resources.
what about the keyboard driver? will we be able to purchase it
again?

Hi,
Today I took yahm_dev archive and built ChangeTitle example, just for
fun. The code is pretty simple, builds nicely (arm-palmos-gcc 3.3.1,
build-prc 2.3), but... it badly crashes on my Treo 650. If I remove
all the strings from the oldtrap call (i.e. replace by NULL) - it
works. Any Str... call - same effect. What basic do I miss there?
Regards,
I tried Belkin G700 Wingboard / BenQ Logitech TypeAway keyboard driver for OS5 with my Palm Tugsten T2 and it works better than the original driver. And also, original driver from Logitech give me problems with Document to GO.
To ragistration and purchase I had to go PALMGEAR web but today, it's not for sale on their site.
Can you help to get it ??
Thanks,
Ferran

No. YAHMLib, the YAHM engine still supported for now, so I have no
intentions to open YAHM sources.

If that's final, do you by any chance got plans to open YAHM sources?
Regards,
Hi Folks,
I'm hoping that even though Igor has laid down his palm tools, someone can
help me!
I'm trying to get a pointer to the palm os globals. In a mail some time
ago, Igor instructed me
--
void *PalmOSGetGlobalsPtr(void);
with my libs from YAHM SDK. Also you can take it from mobile-stream native
ARM SDK.
---
well, I've downloaded the YAHM sdk, but can't see any sign of this.
Can someone help?
What I'm after is a simple way to get a pointer from my c code.
Thanks in advance,
Rob
I do appreciate all the hard work you put into the g700 driver for the
T3, but have you left us high and dry? Has it been released into the
public domain or open source communities? I finally found it and love
the fact I can now use my keyboard.
Mike
I too would like to purchase a registration G700 keyboard hack. I hope this is still possible.

I'm user a TypeAway keyboard in my old m515 and drivers work fine,
but not in my T2.
I've tried to get registration from Palmgear too, without success.
