BEA2005 Celebrates the Past, Looks to the Future
The Broadcast Education Association has many reasons to celebrate at its 50th annual conference, which will be held April 21-23 in Las Vegas (at the end of NAB2005). Founded in 1955 as the Association for Professional Broadcasting Education by a group of 17 educational institutions, with NAB as an active participant and contributor, the BEA (the moniker changed in 1973) now boasts more than 1,400 individual and institutional members.
