Hello!

I want to thank the pavuk community[1] for supporting this program[2], but
I also want to protest[3] against the bad ... attention which seems to be
paid to the proggy at the moment[4].

[1] Well, there are more than 150 people on this mailing list, if I
remember properly.
[2] Support: Also in the meaning of using it at all. Giving the author a
reason to continue his work. Tell him that You like it!
[3] Who am I that I may protest? Well, don't ask, I'm just a moron who
thinks he knows everything better. Sorry :-(
[4] There seems NOT to be any official channel where e.g. pavuk releases
are announced. I can be wrong, I hope I am.

I think that pavuk could[5] be the best web ripper available on linux,
supporting both GUI[6] and command line.

[5] Could, only, because I stupid me-some couldn't get it run properly.
Bad luck, maybe. Maybe lack of DOCUMENTATION!
[6] The GUI doesn't compile in the release I could gather from an unknown
ftp server. (30a)

Well, these are my unimportant thoughts about pavuk. I just got a view
questions, which could help me to use this program succesfully - I beg
You to give some information. Thanks in advance!

- Where to get the newest pavuk version?
- Which is the newest pavuk version?
- Can anybody compile the GUI in the 30a version? (As I said, I found
some version 30a from an unknown ftp server. So I don't know whether it
is official or not.)
- Is there an official homepage which IS UPDATED?
- Can pavuk make my love life more interesting?
- ...

Whoopsie! Kill the last question, just don't answer it ;-)

So, I hope You don't think I'm an a*shole right now. I am just wondering
about pavuk being so ... bad supported - in my experience.
Let me know if I'm wrong!
