October 25, 2004 - The Rawether .NET is a .NET Framework assembly that
provides a uniform API between user-mode applications and PCAUSA NDIS
drivers. Basically, it is a C# version of the current Rawether 'C' API - but
greatly extended.
Rawether .NET provides a rich, consistent NDIS user-mode API across the
Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 platforms.
Today we have released Rawether V5.5.18.02 (Build 1802) which includes bug
fixes and improvements that were generated during the first few customer's
use of Rawether .NET. I was certainly pleased that only one bug was
uncovered. A few enhancements related to 802.11 management were identified
and incorporated as well.
A new .NET forms-based version of NDIScope - including a crude
"TcpDump-like" packet capture application - was added to the Rawether .NET
sample code.

Note: If you are using the Rawether for Windows Win32 NDIS API ("standard"
unmanaged 'C'), then be advised that this release does NOT incorporate any
changes to the components that you are using. This release does NOT include
any changes to the W32N55 DLL or the PCAUSA NDIS protocol drivers. You do
NOT need to fetch this update.
