March 10, 2002 - There have been several reports of problems with NDIS
protocols and NDIS Intermediate (IM) drivers that are associated primarily
with faults in ProtocolReceive handler when operating on certain Realtek/SMC
adapters on Windows 2000. The problem was observed on PCAUSA as well as
non-PCAUSA drivers, and may occur on other adapters and OSs as well.

PCAUSA was never able to reproduce the problem in its lab. However, a fix
has finally been found.
