FYI: Stumbling Over NetStumbler   Message List

September 6, 2003 - Over the course of this year there have been an
increasing number of reports of problems BSOD's) related to a popular W-Fi
utility called "NetStumbler".

Unfortunately, this freeware product includes a Warez (unlicensed) copy of
Rawether for Windows runtime components (W32N50.DLL and PCANDIS5.sys, for
example). As far as we can tell, the PCAUSA driver is not the cause of these
problems.

We thought we should provide you with some information about this situation.
Please see:

http://www.rawether.net/pressroom/StumblingOverNetstumbler.htm

In addition, installations of NetStumbler may conflict with your own
installation of Rawether runtime components. A solution to eliminate
potemtial runtime component conflicts is to develop or acquire an OEM
(renamed) version of these components for your product distribution. We now
provide an inexpensive service to build OEM (private-labeled) versions of
Rawether components for our customers if necessary. Please see:

http://www.rawether.net/oem/default.htm

Warm regards,

Thomas F. Divine
