December 28, 2003 - PCAUSA is in the process of adapting several products to
support Windows 64-Bit systems.
One of the first tools to be adapted for Windows 64-bit systems is the
PCAUSA OIDScope utility. OIDScope is a Win32 MFC application that provides a
simple means for users to make NDIS queries on installed network adapters.
OIDScope is one of the components of the PCAUSA NDIS Tools, which are
described at the URL:
http://www.pcausa.com/Utilities/ndistools.htm V5.03.16.56 (32-bit
Windows Only)
The URL includes a link to download V5.03.16.56 of NDIS Tools (and
OIDScope). HOWEVER, V5.03.16.56 does not operate correctly on Windows 64-bit
systems because of some data alignment problems.
An updated OIDScope V5.03.16.57 includes support for Windows 64-bit systems
(as well as LH PDC). PCAUSA invites anyone interested in testing OIDScope on
Windows 64-bit systems to download the Beta executable from the following
URL:
ftp://ftp.pcausa.com/utilities/Oidscope.exe V5.03.16.57 (32-bit and
64-bit Windows)
(94KB Digitally Signed Executable)
NOTE: This download will be removed January 5, 2004.
OIDScope is a 32-bit Win32 MFC application. It requires support of MFC 4.2
DLLs, which should already be installed on most systems.
PCAUSA only has access to Windows XP 64-Bit AMD test machines. We would
particularly appreciate feedback from anyone having access to Windows 64-Bit
Itanium systems. (Itanium donations gladly accepted...).

Thanks for your interest.
