May 25, 2004 - Microsoft is at the RC1 stage in the release of Windows XP
Service Pack 2 (SP2). In SP2 Microsoft is introducing a set of security
technologies. These technologies and other incidental changes may have
impacts on your applications.
Don't get surprised when the service pack is finally released!
Although the XP SP2 release date has not been set, I would expect it to be
announced before too long.

You can download XP SP2 for testing from there.
If you are using Rawether for Windows, then you probably will need Build
1658. That release accommodates a kernel-mode string parsing flaw introduced
in the prior release (Build 1657). The flaw causes the symbolic link
generated by the driver to differ from that expected by the W32N50 DLL in
some rare cases. As a consequence a Rawether-based application could not
open the adapter.
