Announcing PDF::Kit - some subroutines for working with PDF::API2   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #3667 of 3707 |
Hi,

I have had some free time and created PDF::Kit It has, among other
things, a subroutine, print_paragraph(), that can print bold text in the
middle of a paragraph. It also has in the tarball, eg_print_paragraph,
an example script on how to use it and how to write the all important
callback subroutine: print_text()

This is an experimental module; it is subject to change without notice.

Eventually it will end up on CPAN but I need to write some tests for it.
If you try it, please post your feedback here so others may benefit from
it.

Sounds a lot like PDF::TextBlock, which I wrote in March: http://search.cpan.org/~jhannah/PDF-TextBlock-0.01/lib/PDF/TextBlock.pm...

... Does it do italic too? Can it do nested font changes? I don't mean to brag...well, OK, I do but in a humble sort of way :) PDF::Kit can do almost any font...
