Sad to say goodbye :-(

It is with admittedly a bit of sadness that I'm moving from my data from
PersonalBrain to Zoot (www.zootsoftware.com). <sigh>... I almost feel like
I'm breaking up with a really nice "think different" woman... in favor of an
uglier but much-more-intelligent-and-strong woman. Whereas PersonalBrain
was fascinating to "date" for a while, I'm now engaged to Zoot, with whom I
plan to spend many efficient and useful years with.

Why?

While PersonalBrain sounds great on paper and indeed, makes for some
fascinating 'roaming' and mapping... it is not an efficient way for me to
organize my life.

Though I've only worked with PersonalBrain for about a month now, I have
spent many, many hours using it and inputing my data, and have duly offered
large amounts of feedback to the company. However, after just a few weeks
of use, I've discovered that Zoot simply offers more that I need and want:
- Powerful filtering
- Super-fast cut-and-paste from any application
- Strong bi-directional integration with Microsoft Outlook (notes, tasks,
e-mail, contacts, and more!)
- TONS of shortcut keys to make my work faster
...and much more.

I'll miss, for a time, the rich-text capabilities of PersonalBrain. But
already, I've found that I don't REALLY need rich-text all that much, and
the resultant file sizes are deliciously smaller.

Anyway, I apologize if this post seems disrespectful, but I assure you that
my intentions are neither malicious nor motivated by any compensation from
Zoot Software.

I am sure that many of you will continue to enjoy and prefer PersonalBrain
over other software, and at the same time, I welcome you to try out other
products such as Zoot... even if only to 'steal' the best features and
functionality of these programs to improve PersonalBrain over time. After
all, every one of us benefits by raising the bar and increasing the
competition strength of this space.

Thank you for reading, and take care...

Regards,
Adam
