We've moved the website to a new address. The "shortcut" address
<http://indianastars.us> still works. The "real" new address is
<http://jmmahony.home.insightbb.com/pgo>. That's my ISP's "member's
webspace", and has the advantage that there's no more yahoo ad.

I also changed the way the URL redirection works, so when you go to
<http://indianastars.us>, the "real" address will show in the address bar,
and if you click a link in the page, the new address will show. The
advantage of that is you can now easily bookmark individual pages within the
site. Formerly, if you clicked the link to, say, the public events schedule
page, the address in the address bar stayed the same, so if you bookmarked
it, the bookmark would take you back to the front page. For those of you on
slow dial-up connections, that meant you had to wait for our graphics-heavy
front page to load before you could get to the simple schedule page.

I also did a few minor updates along the way. I put a picture of Buck
Harley, myself, and WVAS Pres. Franz Frederick on the front page. Buck is
the guy who donated the 7" refractor. I don't think I mentioned it yet, but
for those of you who own a Meade LX200GPS scope, you've probably heard of
the "Buck's Gears" meatal gear upgrade for the drives. Buck developed those
and donated the specs to Peterson Engineering
<http://www.petersonengineering.com/SkyDiv/bucks_gears.htm> to make them
available to other LX200GPS owners.

Some pictures that Buck took with his scope are in the astrophotography
section.

As soon as we settle on a design for the scope shelter building, digging for
the pier should begin soon.

-John
