Philly ALT.NET's goal is to build a local community of Microsoft .NET developers who are interested in exploring open source, community-driven alternatives to the "out-of-the-box" development practices and tools provided by Microsoft. It is not about being anti-Microsoft, rather about utilizing the excellent .NET development framework to its fullest potential.
