So I'm currently working on Darren Naish's idea the Squamozoic. I'm currently
working on it with someone else (known as Metalraptor). We had originally
created an entire essay describing the world, but the both of us were
unsatisfied with the finished product (even the great nemo-ramjet), so we are
currently re-working the entire project. It is a bit difficult (at least for me)
to come up with so many new ideas, so I figure I can get a little help here.
Here's the link to the original essay ...
http://chimpeetah.deviantart.com/journal/25146162/ .
So far some of the ideas include
.Large Chinese long-like varanids
.Small short-tailed geckos that occupy the frog niche in areas too hostile for
the amphibians (thanks nemo for the suggestion)
.Marine anguids that are eel-equivalents , we may even include large predatory
species, along with beachcombers
.Terrestrial ambushing amphisbaenians, related to Bipes Biporous
.Arboreal omnivorous amphisbaenians
and many more, but I'd like to hear what some other people knowledgeable about
squamates have to say :)
