Description

Welcome to Photography Beginners yahoogroup. Our goal is to help you improve your photos in any way we can no matter what kind of camera you use. We have lots of knowledgeable members and we're familiar with Gimp ("free photoshop") as well as commercial image editing software if you have questions about that as well. We have both daily and monthly contests too! Topics vary from studio work, landscape, sports, portrait photography, image editing, equipment selection, and more.

I loved my Canon S5IS. It has a macro mode as well as a decent zoom. Even though I have a Canon 40D now I still pull the S5IS out from time to time. I believe
