Re: [photoshop-beginners] Is this right in CS4 extended?

Thank you Mario. Yes that is how it looks in the tutorial but mine does not have that!

I may try reinstalling as Joy suggested and see if that helps.

Thank for your reply Joy.
I went where you said in the workspace menu and Essentials isn't there
either!

I wonder if this is in CS3? If not, then I wonder if it is possible that my
copy is incorrectly named CS4 and it is in fact CS3?

I don't know what else to think!

Patty,

I don't have the extended version, but do they have different workspaces
depending on what you are wanting to do with the program?
From my understanding, CS4 extended has 3D tools and maybe when you are
working in that space the adjustments palette isn't available.
Have you tried going to Windows>Workspace>Essentials(default) ?

I'm sorry but I have no other ideas on why you don't see the adjustments
palette. It's very strange.

Hopefully someone with the essentials version will know the answer for you.

I have Photoshop CS4 Extended and have finally decided to try and learn how
to use it. I am a long time PSP9 user so at least have a beginners knowledge

I got hold of a tutorial on getting started on PS CS4 but a part of the
instruction (and it's a video so how could you go wrong) states to open the
Adjustments Palette by going to Window and in the drop down menu selecting
adjustment'.
But when I do this, I don't have adjustment to select from.
